"Improvisation techniques" formation

Presentation of the training course

Trainees meet with the CMDL’s team of reference teachers every month for an immersive day on “Improvisation Techniques.”
This training course allows participants to discover improvisation or perfect their skills, consolidate rhythmic, harmonic, and melodic concepts (improvisation, interpretation), and learn a new working method specific to jazz. At the end of the course, trainees receive a CMDL certificate.

Training objectives

At the end of the training, trainees will be able to read a rhythm chart, recognize intervals and chords, and play a jazz standard.
