The CMDL is in residence in a castle, located in the heart of the park of L’Abbaye du Lys in Dammarie-Lès-Lys. This building’s facilities offers reception and operating possibilities of very high quality, in an incomparable comfort and setting. The Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood is open 7 days a week and until 10pm during the working days. With such wide opening hours, these young musicians have a real freedom of work.
Framed by the Seine and the forest of Fontainebleau, the city of Dammarie-lès-Lys is close to Melun – prefecture of the Seine-et-Marne – and is at least 46 km south of Paris (Porte d’Orléans), or 35 to 45 minutes of transport to the Gare de Lyon (Paris 12ème).
