CMDL moves to Farm of Bois Briard

In september 2023, CMDL moved to the farm of Bois Briard, in Evry-Courcouronnes. The place was fully renovated by Grand Paris Sud to provide students with exceptional facilities. This new building offers working conditions unique in France with 9 large classrooms and workshops, 12 work labs, a 150-seat master-class room, a permanent studio and a cafeteria.

It is now part of a large cultural pole that includes CMDL, a theater school (EDT91), a plastic arts/visual arts school and a 350-seat auditorium. The Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood is open 7 days a week from 9am to 10:45pm, giving young musicians a real freedom of work. Its location is 1 km away from Evry-Courcouronnes University.

Students can easily use the following facilities :

• 9 large collective rehearsal rooms
• 12 individual workspaces
• 1 master-class room with 150 seats
• 1 permanent recording studio
• 1 common room with kitchen
  
• and quality equipment and instruments, thanks to partnerships established with YAMAHA, TAMA and BAY CUSTOM DRUMS.
