The CMDL presents its teaching team: passionate musician-teachers who are renowned in the world of jazz and improvised music. Their experience, kindness, and artistic standards accompany each student throughout their journey, helping them to reveal their potential, assert their musical identity, and nurture their creativity.
PERMANENT TEACHERS
GUEST SPEAKERS TO ENRICH THE TRAINING PROGRAM
Each year, the CMDL welcomes more than 70 external contributors to complement its permanent teaching staff. These artists and educators, renowned for their unique backgrounds and sensibilities, bring a fresh perspective and valuable expertise to the students.
Instrument classes and composition workshops welcome a different guest artist each week. This regular rotation allows musicians in training to discover a variety of approaches, working methods, and artistic worlds, promoting an openness to different styles that is essential in jazz and improvised music.
