Voicingers France CMDL

Voicingers

Voicingers is an international traveling vocal jazz festival founded in 2008, featuring concerts, workshops, and jam sessions. It takes place in several countries across Europe and Asia, offering a platform for artist residencies and workshops open to all skill levels. The event aims to promote intercultural musical creativity and bring together musicians of different nationalities for unique collaborations.

As a partner of Voicingers, the CMDL supports this event by contributing its expertise and helping to promote vocal jazz within the international music scene. This partnership reinforces the CMDL’s commitment to the dissemination of jazz music and the building of bridges between artists from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

COME TO CMDL

COMING AS PART OF THE ERASMUS EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Students enrolled at a conservatory or a European university that holds the Erasmus Charter may apply to join the CMDL through the Erasmus+ mobility program.

ENROLL IN THE DNSPM PROGRAM AND/OR A BACHELOR'S DEGREE AND/OR A MASTER'S DEGREE

What steps should international students take to enroll in the DNSPM program and/or the Bachelor’s degree in Musicology? Here you will find the administrative procedures to follow based on your country of origin.

PROFESSIONAL FORMATION & OTHER FORMATIONS

For vocational training or other courses, no diploma is required, but enrollment is subject to a preliminary audition. French is the language of instruction, but all instructors speak English.

GOING ABROAD

Through the ERASMUS exchange program, students enrolled in the DNSPM or Bachelor’s degree programs at CMDL are encouraged to study abroad for part of their program.

Study abroad opportunities are available starting in the second year of the Bachelor’s program, for either a semester or a full academic year. You should begin planning your stay one year in advance. Contact the director as soon as you begin your studies at CMDL.

TUITION-FREE

European universities and schools waive tuition fees for students participating in the Erasmus+ program.

ERASMUS+ MOBILITY GRANTS

During their stay abroad, students receive an Erasmus+ mobility grant, the amount of which depends on several factors (study location, duration, etc.). To enable all students to spend part of their studies abroad, the European Union has established an additional grant. To find out if you are eligible for this additional grant, you can download the eligibility criteria here.

ECTS

Courses offered by the host institution are part of the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System). The purpose of ECTS is to facilitate the academic recognition of studies abroad. Credits are proportional to the amount of work required of the student and serve to measure the level of study achieved.
To complete your Erasmus semester, you need 30 ECTS credits.
