UNDERGRADUATE

DIPLÔME NATIONAL SUPÉRIEUR PROFESSIONNEL DE MUSICIEN

Thanks to the specificity of its pedagogy and its teachings in jazz and improvised music, the CMDL has been able to establish partnerships with the Pôle Supérieur Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB) and the University of Evry Val d’Essonne, in order to open this state diploma of music, recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Communication. The DNSPM is obligatorily coupled with a bachelor of music. Thus, although a private institution of higher education, the CMDL offers DNSPM course and applies similar tuition fees to the French higher education centers.

 

BACHELOR OF MUSIC

In collaboration with l’Université d’Evry Val d’Essonne, the CMDL offers a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Musicology. The objective is to enable students to acquire a first level of knowledge and skills in jazz and improvised music.

 

PROFESSIONNAL PROGRAM

Students in professional program at the CMDL can take the tests for two diplomas:

 

MIMA Certificate

As a member of the FNEIJMA (Fédération Nationale des Ecoles d’Influence Jazz et Musiques Actuelles), the CMDL has the possibility to enroll his students for the MIMA competition (Musicien Interprète des Musiques Actuelles). This certificate is registered with the RNCP (National Register of Professional Certifications) and confers the first level of professional artist of the music, a level IV title. He is a benchmark in the professionalization process and the realization of a personal artistic project for musicians. Created by FNEIJMA, this certificate contributes to the establishment of a common objective of training on current music and the structuring of the sector.

Le DEM Jazz

Thanks to the partnership established with the Conservatoire à rayonnement départemental Val Maubuée in Noisiel, the professional training of the CMDL gives access to the tests to obtain DEM. The Diploma of Music Studies is the highest French musical diploma awarded by the Conservatoires.
